About the role

As a Supply Chain Manager at HUBER + SUHNER (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD.', you will play a pivotal role in managing the company's supply chain operations. This full-time position is based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor, and will involve overseeing and leading the procurement, logistics, and inventory management functions to ensure efficient and cost-effective supply chain processes.

What you'll be doing

  • To oversee or direct handling of the function of demand planning, intercompany purchases and inventory control

  • To execute material management and demand planning as per the business needs.

-To develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimise the company's logistics and inventory management

-To manage the procurement of materials, components, and services to meet production and sales requirements

-To monitor and analyse supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement

-To collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline supply chain processes and increase overall efficiency

-To forecast demand and plan inventory levels to ensure timely delivery of products to customers

-To oversee the distribution and logistics of finished goods to customers

  • To ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies governing the supply chain

-To lead and mentor a team of supply chain professionals to foster a culture of continuous improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the manufacturing.
  2. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimise supply chain processes.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  4. Proficiency in using supply chain management software and data analysis tools including SAP.
  5. Ability to forecast demand and plan inventory levels to meet customer needs.
  6. Knowledge of supply chain regulations and best practices in the relevant industry
  7. Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field
