Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Executive – Supply Chain, located in Petaling Jaya. The Senior Executive will be responsible for overseeing demand planning, supply chain operations, and production planning. This includes analyzing supply chain data, coordinating with teams to ensure efficient operations, and managing the production planning process to meet the company's demand and supply objectives. The role requires strong analytical skills and effective communication with various stakeholders to ensure smooth supply chain management.

  • Proficiency in Demand Planning and Production Planning
  • Strong Analytical Skills
  • Experience in Supply Chain Operations
  • Excellent Communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
  • Ability to work efficiently in an on-site team environment
  • Relevant certifications in supply chain management are a plus
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus

Key Responsibilities

  1. Procurement & Supplier Management

Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery.

Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong relationships.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and industry regulations.

  1. Inventory & Materials Planning

Plan and manage inventory levels to meet production and sales demand while minimizing holding costs.

Coordinate material requirements with production and sales forecasts.

Implement inventory control measures to reduce stock discrepancies and obsolescence.

  1. Logistics & Distribution

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities to ensure on-time delivery to customers.

Work with freight forwarders, transporters, and customs agents for smooth import/export processes.

Monitor and optimize transportation costs.

  1. Process Improvement & Reporting

Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Implement best practices, automation, and ERP systems enhancements.

Prepare regular supply chain reports (inventory status, supplier performance, logistics KPIs) for management review.

  1. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Liaise with Production, Sales, Finance, and Operation teams to align supply chain operations with company goals.

Support new product launches with timely sourcing and material readiness.
