Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Lead tender exercises to secure competitive pricing and reliable service.
  • Negotiate prices, contracts, delivery terms, and payment arrangements with vendors.
  • Oversee item code creation and procurement data updates in NAV.
  • Manage end-to-end purchasing activities, including approvals, vendor coordination, and goods receipting.
  • Support procurement for new outlet setups, including renovation and asset purchasing.
  • Conduct vendor sourcing and price comparisons for CAPEX and non-stock items.
  • Coordinate asset registration, maintenance, repairs, and contract management.
  • Track CAPEX usage vs. budget and provide management reports.
  • Supervise and guide procurement team members.
  • Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, confidentiality, and safety standards.
  • Perform other duties as required and travel to sites when necessary.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8–10 years of procurement experience, preferably with exposure to the healthcare industry.
  • Strong negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficient in procurement systems/ERP (e.g., NAV) and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to multitask, work independently, and manage deadlines.

Pay: RM8, RM12,000.00 per month
