A) Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Planning:

· Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with the organization's goals.

· Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand their procurement goals and requirements.

  1. Vendor Management:

· Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.

· Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and reliable delivery of goods and services.

· Conduct regular vendor performance evaluations.

  1. Contract Negotiation:

· Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure advantageous agreements.

· Draft and review contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.

· Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation.

  1. Budget Management:

· Develop and manage the procurement budget, tracking expenses and ensuring cost-

effectiveness.

· Implement cost-control measures without compromising quality.

  1. Compliance and Risk Management:

· Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends affecting procurement.

· Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

· Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks.

  1. Process Improvement:

· Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes for efficiency and effectiveness.

· Implement best practices and technology solutions to streamline procurement activities.

  1. Collaboration:

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and quality assurance, to align procurement activities with overall organizational objectives.

· Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to understand their needs and provide procurement support.

  1. Reporting and Analysis:

· Generate regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and vendor performance.

· Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

B) Reports and Meetings

· To furnish all required reports to Management on timely basis.

· Attend all scheduled meetings pr any other meetings scheduled by the Company on time.

C) General Management

1) To forge and effect standard operating procedures and processes in the Company wherever needed for it to function smoothly and effectively.

5) Organisational Responsibilities

  1. Enforces all policies relating to performance evaluations and career development planning

  2. Mentors key staff.

  3. Creates an environment where innovators can successfully achieve professional career path goals.

  4. Manages the development of key managers.

  5. Reviews status reports of key managers and address issues as appropriate.

  6. Enforces standard policies and procedures.
