Quality Assurance Halal Executive

**JOB PURPOSE**

Junior Quality Assurance cum Halal Executive is responsible to perform quality assurance tasks in maintaining food safety and quality system and also to ensure halal requirement is full filled. Junior Quality Assurance cum Halal Executive responsible to identify and recommend continuous improvement to enhance performance of the food safety and quality management system.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Implementing and maintain Food Safety and Quality System in accordance to internal standards and procedures.

2. Support in quality assurance team in responding during contingency situation to eliminate potential risk on product quality not limit to emergency situation, product recall, non-conformance, machine breakdown and etc.

3. Support in executing effective quality inspection system to ensure meeting desired quality specification and standards.

4. Support in upkeep the latest specifications of the existing raw materials, primary packaging, finished products and any product or services which could affect the integrity of the finished products.

5. Support in implementing product traceability system to enable tracing of all raw materials products lots including primary packaging from suppliers across all stages of processing and dispatch to customer and vice versa.

6. Oversee lab operations not limit to maintain and improve lab safety and partner with purchasing team in sourcing for lab equipment when required.

7. Monitor and ensure swab test and analysis are performed timely as per requirement.

8. Monitor calibration schedule and ensure all measuring equipment is calibrated in timely manner.

9. Execute allergen management system and ensure no cross-contact of allergen if it is unintended.

10. Monitor and controlling non-confirming product and ensure out-specification product is effectively managed and prevent authorized release.

11. Support in implementation of hazard control plan throughout the whole manufacturing process completely.

12. Support in coordinate the internal and external audit to ensure effective implementation of the requirements of global standards for quality and food safety.

13. Support in product withdrawal and product recall to ensure effective management.

14. Implement and maintain an effective preventive pest management program to prevent any pest infestation in the premises.

15. Conduct scheduled inspection to monitor and control the risk of chemical and physical contamination of products in production and storage area.

16. Facilitate and manage new products or processes and any changes to product, packaging or manufacturing processes to ensure safe and legal products are produced.

17. Monitor rework activities in accordance to procedures to ensure product safety, quality, traceability and regulatory compliance are maintain.

18. Execute and ensure FIFO or FEFO in practice.

19. Support in investigate to identify the root cause of complaints and non-conformance and recommend the corrective action for improvements.

20. Conduct internal Food Safety related training.

21. Assist to carry out duties in complying to Company’s Food Safety System, Company’s Health and Safety Guidelines, Company’s Policy and Procedures, etc. by maintaining, evaluating and continuous improvement.

**JOB REQUIREMENT**

1. Bachelor's Degree / Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Food Technology or equivalent is preferred.

2. Must have Halal Executive Certificate.

3. Certified internal auditor for food safety system is preferred.

4. Able to speak and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

5. Positive working attitude.

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
