Safety & Security Supervisor

**SUMMARY**:
The Safety & Security Supervisor is responsible for supporting the Safety & Security Manager in maintaining a safe and secure environment across all assigned properties, particularly Wisma Leader, Macalister Mansion and HNG Capital Headquarters Office. This role includes supervising security personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (DOSH, BOMBA, and local authorities), preparing related documentation, and assisting in the investigation and training functions related to safety and security. The Supervisor acts as a key liaison between site-level operations and management, ensuring the implementation of policies, procedures, and emergency responses.

**KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Operational Oversight**
- Supervise daily security and safety operations across assigned properties.
- Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure proper functioning of security systems and adherence to safety protocols.
- Ensure timely response to incidents, emergencies, and violations, and document all activities accurately.
- Act as site lead when the Safety & Security Manager is unavailable.

**Personnel Management**
- Oversee and schedule duty rosters for security personnel to always ensure full coverage.
- Monitor attendance, discipline, and performance of security guards.
- Provide daily briefings and instructions to security staff.
- Train, coach, and evaluate team members to maintain professional standards.

**Documentation & Compliance**
- Prepare and maintain records and reports required by DOSH, BOMBA, and local authorities.
- Ensure all safety audits, inspection checklists, and compliance logs are up-to-date and ready for review.
- Coordinate with external agencies during site inspections and regulatory visits.

**Emergency Preparedness & Response**
- Assist in the planning and execution of emergency drills and evacuation procedures.
- Support incident investigations including documentation, root cause analysis, and follow-up actions.
- Respond promptly to fire alarms, suspicious activities, injuries, and other emergency incidents.

**Safety Training & Awareness**
- Conduct safety and emergency response training for internal staff and security teams.
- Provide induction safety briefings to new staff, contractors, or vendors entering the premises.
- Promote safety awareness and ensure all personnel are familiar with procedures.

**Security Systems Monitoring**
- Oversee the operation of CCTV, access control, alarm systems, and other safety infrastructure.
- Report any malfunction or abnormal activity to the Safety & Security Manager for corrective action.

**Support in Investigations**
- Assist the Safety & Security Manager in conducting investigations related to incidents, thefts, accidents, or property damage.
- Gather evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare investigation reports.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and professionalism during all investigation procedures.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Minimum Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health, Security Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in a supervisory safety/security role.
- Good understanding of safety regulations and requirements under DOSH, BOMBA, and local councils.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and reporting skills.
- Able to work flexible hours, including weekends, nights, or emergency call-ins.
- Physically fit and able to respond quickly during emergencies.

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
