To deliver food orders from the kitchen to customers’ tables rapidly and accurately. - To assist with table setting by fetching and placing appropriate tableware, eating utensils and napkins. - To serve drinks upon guests’ arrival. - To ensure food is served in accordance with safety standards (e.g. proper temperature). - To regularly check customers’ needs and take additional beverage orders or to refill water, as needed. - To inform supervisor on any feedback or request received from customers. - To remove dirty dishes and utensils. - To polish and clean all the silverware, glassware and other equipment. - To ensure families with young children get kids menus and special silverware sets. REQUIREMENTS - School leaver (PMR/SPM) or possess Diploma in Hospitality or equivalent. - Experience as entry-level role in a restaurant is a great advantage. - Availability to work various shifts, including weekends. - Degree in hospitality is an added advantage. DESIRABLE SKILLS - Good understanding of hygiene and food safety rules. - Able to multi-task. - Good communication skills. - Able to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced work environment. - Highly self-motivated and customer-oriented.
