**Dental Assistant**

**Responsibilities**:

- Support the dentist during treatments by managing suction, passing instruments, and preparing necessary materials
- Welcome and prepare patients for their appointments, explaining procedures to ensure they feel informed and at ease
- Perform cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of instruments in line with infection control protocols
- Set up treatment rooms with the required tools, trays, and materials prior to each session
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with note-taking during procedures
- Take and process dental x-rays (with appropriate certification, if required)
- Track dental supplies, restock inventory, and place orders as needed
- Provide reassurance and assistance to patients throughout their visit

**Requirements**:

- Basic knowledge of dental procedures and clinical practices
- Strong attention to cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards
- Good communication skills for interacting with patients and team members
- Skilled in handling dental equipment and following sterilization protocols
- Team-oriented with the ability to work well in a clinical setting
- Comfortable wearing professional clinical attire (scrubs, gloves, masks)
