Dental Assistant/front Desk

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare the dental surgery prior to each patient, ensuring all relevant materials and instruments are in place
- Learn the names and usage of all materials and equipment required for different procedures that will be performed
- Ensure all dental equipment are sterilised prior to each patient appointment
- Provide efficient and effective chairside assistance to the dentist ensuring that they have the correct materials and instruments
- Maintain accurate note-taking for the dentist during patient examination and ensure full understanding of dental notation and terminology
- Ensure the care and welfare of all patients including monitoring of patients during treatment, and offering support when needed
- Advise patients on effective oral hygiene, including proper teeth brushing techniques, and the importance of flossing
- Complete regular stock checks of dental materials, ensuring there is adequate stocks of dental materials in the clinic
- Assist with administrative duties including greeting and checking in of patients into the electronic medical record system, calculating treatment costs and taking payments
- Maintain the dental practice in a clean, neat and organised condition
- Assist in taking dental radiographs
- Performing office management tasks that often require the use of a personal computer
- Aid in communicating with patients and suppliers (e.g. scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies)

Pay: RM1,609.69 - RM2,000.00 per month
