Our client has a processing centre of operational excellence supporting 10 countries across three geographical time zones employing a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 24/5 operational capability. The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of their global operations, improve service quality via their 'centres of excellence' and to implement/leverage standardised processes globally.

**What will you do?**
- Support implementation of Enterprise Operational Risk Management Framework requirements.
- Conduct targeted operational control reviews &/or periodic control testing reviews.
- Prepare monthly & quarterly risk reports to senior management by providing input and highlighting areas requiring management attention.
- Collate, analyze, validate, investigate and report on Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
- Review and analyze Operational Risk Events and other operational errors to identify root causes and corrective measures.
- Conduct follow-up of prior audit issues and assess resolution status and effectiveness of action plans.
- Analyze and review emerging risk issues.
- Prepare Front Office risk scorecard reporting to management.

**What do you need to succeed?**

Must-have
- University degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Finance or other relevant professional qualifications
- At least 2 - 5 years' relevant experience in private banking / wealth management platform
- Strong understanding of operational risk practices and regulatory requirements and expectations in WM business with a control mindset
- Experience from working in a variety of businesses within WM and strong knowledge of WM products will be an advantage
- Strong presentation and communication (verbal and written skills)
- Maturity level and skill / judgment to be able to deal effectively with senior managers
- Good impact and influencing skills
- Strong problem solving, analytical (including qualitative analysis), research and quantitative skills
- Strong system knowledge
