Executive, CAMO Materials - Purchasing

**Job Type**: 1 year fixed term contract

As an Executive, CAMO Materia at AirAsia X, you will collaborate closely with the Material Manager to streamline and enhance the procurement, storage, issue, transportation, handling, and control of engineering spares and materials. Your role is pivotal in ensuring that our engineering operations run smoothly and economically. You will actively participate in the evaluation and selection of suppliers, products, and services to meet the company's stringent quality and regulatory standards.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Prepare detailed analyses of material needs to support the entire AirAsia X fleet. You will plan the restocking of materials to maintain optimum levels, adapting to any schedule changes that necessitate replenishments.
- Evaluate, plan, and coordinate materials required for maintenance kits, ensuring alignment with maintenance schedules.
- Handle the process from requesting quotations to preparing purchase requisitions and finalizing orders for all aircraft and commercial items needed for restocking and maintenance support.
- Maintain strong communication with all relevant agencies for the clearance of incoming engineering aircraft items. Work closely with vendors and other agencies concerning procured, loaned, or serviced items.
- Monitor maintenance team requests and route them appropriately, ensuring prompt and efficient action.
- Ensure proper and up-to-date documentation, including quotations, supplier evaluations, purchase requisitions, and orders. Ensure all procurement activities are thoroughly documented and accessible.
- Manage the logistics of shipping and delivery, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Ensure all orders are properly closed out and documented.
- Produce detailed reports for management reviews, providing insights and updates as required.
- Assist the Material Manager with any assigned tasks, ensuring timely and effective completion.

**Education and Qualifications**
- ** Educational Background**: Possess a recognized Bachelor’s Degree in any field or a Diploma in an Administration or Engineering-related field.
