**ENVIRONMENTAL OFFICER (PART-TIME)**

Location Working: Banting

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Responsible to prepare environmental reports to management and authority whenever required.
- To plan, schedule and manage environmental activities.
- Conduct environmental assessments to identify potential impacts and risks.
- Monitor and analyze pollution levels, waste management practices, and energy consumption.
- Recommend and implement strategies to minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on environmental practices and procedures.
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies and ensure compliance with environmental permits and licenses.
- Liaise with the local authority (Department of Environment, Local City Council, Health Department and etc.) to maintain company progressive standard and requirement.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess environmental performance.
- Develop and maintain environmental management systems and records.
- Stay updated on environmental regulations and industry best practices.

**Job Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2 years working experience in relevant field.
- Must register with either CESSWI or CISEC
- Must be familiar with DOE Act
- Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, permits, and compliance procedures.
- Familiarity with environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

**(CESSWI)-**Certified Erosion, Sediment and Storm. Water Inspector

**(CISEC)-**Certified Inspector of Sediment and Erosion Control

**(CePLTPO**)-Certified Environmental Professionals in Leachate Treatment Plant Operation

**Job Types**: Part-time, Freelance

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 5 - 8 per week
