We are a manufacturing company producing commercial and industrial air-conditioning units under the brandname of "YORK". The factory is located in Shah Alam, Selangor and the working hours: Monday - Friday, 8.00 am - 5.30 pm. As a Chargeman in the Maintenance Team, you are expected: 1) To provide consultation relating to Electrical or any other safety legislation matters. 2) To liaise with legislation body on all electrical safety issues. 3) To diagnose the electrical power breakdown and propose solution during power failure. 4) To conduct monthly inspection on the main switchboard and factory electrical systems. 5) To upgrade factory electrical facility. 6) To assist, advise and review electrical designs on products. 7) To plan, perform and/or supervise the repair/preventive/corrective and maintenance work in the factory and office. 8) To coordinate and supervise work done by contractors to ensure standards are met. 9) To be on 24-hour standby for emergency response. 10) To ensure compliance to requirement and standards of Tenaga Nasional Berhad on any matter related to factory electrical system i.e. carry out inspection on switchboard, power point, capacitor bank and lighting and all other duties in complying to Tenaga Nasional Berhad (IEE) standards.
