**Key Responsibilities**:

- Analyze API specifications and requirements to understand the scope and objectives of the testing.
- Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases for API testing.
- Identify test data requirements and prepare the necessary data for testing.
- Execute manual API tests to verify the functionality, performance, and reliability of API endpoints.
- Use tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar to perform manual testing of APIs.
- Validate response data against expected results and identify any discrepancies.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and issues found during testing.
- Work with the development team to reproduce, diagnose, and resolve issues.
- Track and monitor bug resolution progress to ensure timely fixes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and product managers, to ensure smooth testing and development processes.
- Provide feedback on API design and functionality from a testing perspective.
- Maintain detailed and accurate test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test results.
- Update documentation based on changes to APIs and new test scenarios.

**Job Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven_ **3 years’ experience as a Manual API Tester**_ or similar role.
- Strong understanding of API concepts, protocols (REST, SOAP), and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in using API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, etc.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Must have a banking experience

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: Up to RM6,000.00 per month
