**Job Summary**:
The Retail Assistant is responsible for supporting the efficient day-to-day operations of the store. This includes providing excellent customer service, driving sales, restocking inventory, executing merchandising and visual displays, and maintaining a clean, organized store environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service & Experience**
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and approachable manner, offering product recommendations and styling advice.
- Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally, ensuring satisfactory resolution.
- Strive to create a positive and enjoyable shopping experience for all customers.
- Monitor in-store activities and uphold SOPs to prevent theft, shrinkage, and accidents.

**Sales & Product Knowledge**
- Engage customers to drive sales through upselling, cross-selling, and suggestive selling techniques.
- Maintain strong knowledge of products, services, and current trends to effectively communicate features and benefits.
- Stay up to date with stock availability, new arrivals, and promotional offers.
- Support the achievement of individual and team sales targets.

**Visual Merchandising & Store Presentation**
- Assist the Store Manager in maintaining a tidy, visually appealing store layout in line with brand standards.
- Participate in inventory replenishment, receiving, and rotation, ensuring accurate and clear signage.
- Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to create engaging product displays that enhance the store’s aesthetic.

**Point of Sale (POS) Operations**
- Process transactions efficiently and accurately using the store's POS system.
- Handle all payment types securely in accordance with store cash handling policies.
- Assist with the preparation of daily cash reports and resolve any discrepancies.
- Support report generation for sales, customer service, accounts, and logistics.

**Store Operations & Inventory Management**
- Ensure store operations align with company policies, SOPs, and brand presentation standards.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organized environment, including care of stock, fixtures, and furniture.
- Regularly check and restock store essentials (e.g., bags, receipt rolls).
- Report any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock counts, and alert management when restocking is needed.
- Participate in scheduled, ethical stocktaking in compliance with SOPs.

**Team Collaboration**
- Work as part of a team to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.
- Provide support to colleagues during busy periods or as required.
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions to stay informed on new products and company procedures.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,700.00 per month
