This top leading IT company provides you the opportunity to gain experience setting up a Finance team based in Bukit Raja Klang, Malaysia by working closely with their CEO. You will be the number 1 finance person and responsible for overseeing their overall Finance, liaising closely with their mother company. They are looking for a Finance Manager that has experience working in a Tech start-up company before. (MUST HAVE)

**Your new role**

The Finance Manager is responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and analysis of financial information; the development and effective management of processes that will enhance the analysis and reporting of financial information for the company and administration of financial compliance and controls for the company.
- In charge of fund-raising and developing close relationship with bank facilities. (MUST HAVE)
- Preparation of monthly financial reports and supporting work papers for both entities in accordance with group reporting timelines and format
- Preparation of annual budgets and regular forecasts in association with the property General Managers along with supporting documentation
- Preparation of ad-hoc reports and analysis of such as required to assist in improving financial performance for both sites
- Develop and manage a schedule of all payments due ensuring the company is remitting such payments in a timely manner and not incurring penalty costs
- Be the company contact for external agencies regarding taxation, tax queries and compliance issues
- Ensure the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions are carried out in an accurate, timely and effective manner and to ensure banking transactions are appropriate made, authorised and entered.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Has managerial experience working in a Tech start-up company (MUST HAVE)
- 5+ years’ experience in a Financial Management role
- Experience working with a startup company
- Familiar with ERP system
- Understanding of Malaysian Tax Legislation
- Demonstrated experience in financial management and driving commercial and performance outcomes
- Relevant tertiary qualification (such as finance, accounting or business)
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen
- Clear communicator both verbally and in writing
- Technology savvy, particularly with Microsoft Excel
