**Job Title**:

- Executive, Material Planning and Procurement

**Reports To**:

- Assistant Manager, Fleet Technical

**Position Summary**:

- Executive Material Planning provides comprehensive material planning services that encompass requirements analysis, parts forecasting and OEM/MRO liaison and is responsible for planning and coordination of materials requirements in support of scheduled, non-scheduled and other maintenance activities for the FY fleet.

**Key Accountability**:

- Responsible to maintain an adequate inventory level to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Review and ensure re-order levels for all the expendable and consumable spare parts to ensure parts availability for line and base maintenance.
- Evaluate & monitor float levels for all the rotatable and repairable parts to ensure proper management of GMA parts and core return performance.
- Monitor and minimize open defects with respect to engine/airframe/avionics maintenance, cabin maintenance and acceptable deferred defects for the improvement of technical dispatch reliability.
- Evaluate and monitor RSPL line items during initial and ongoing provisioning.
- Review scrap notes, and corresponding float levels to determine if replacement is justified and initiate the replacement action and to promote sustainable recycling of aircraft components.
- Provide assistance to the AOG desk and maintenance operation support group.
- Identify alternate and/or interchangeable part numbers based on the airframe/engine manufacturer approved technical documentation.
- Coordinate with Technical Services, Planning, Aircraft Maintenance, MOC Defect Control section and associated Workshops to resolve queries related to aircraft parts.
- Manage hard time component forecasts and ensure parts availability for scheduled component removals.
- Initiate continuous improvement of material planning processes.
- Ensure all the materials planning activities comply with CAAM regulations and requirements.

**Qualifications & Working Experience**:

- Diploma/Professional Certificate in Maintenance Engineering or Supply chain Management or equivalent with more than 4 years of experience in Supply Chain or relevant Engineering
- More than 4 years of experience working in Supply Chain or relevant Engineering field.

**Area of Experience**:

- Inventory management, Procurement & Purchasing function, and Airline Engineering related functions

**Personality Traits**:

- Good knowledge and understanding of supply chain management and familiar with the procurement/purchasing process.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of inventory management and aircraft maintenance.
- Good IT and communication skills, well versed with AMOS and SAP
- Technical and process-oriented background with the ability to understand and interpret technical data
