Zen Communications is seeking a Creative Director to lead our people and clients to create innovative and engaging media that exceeds the expectations of our community. Job responsibilities: 1. Oversee the creative department by training, assigning, scheduling, and mentoring staff; 2. Ensure creative team adheres to current processes, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement, and proposing and creating processes and tools to support design operations; 3. Understand the client brand and related market conditions, and analyze market trends, consumer need, and the competitive landscape; 4. Conceptualize campaign vision based on requirements from client and develop creative briefs based on ideas established with direction, brand guidelines, schedules, and expected deliverables; 5. Ensure a high standard of visual execution across all media and campaigns 6. Review the work of creative team and providing direction and feedback 7. Present or oversee presentation of final concepts and coordinate production and dissemination for cross-organizational use 8. Taking ownership of the visual elements of creative work for new business pitches 9. Uncovering new ways to incorporate emerging and new media formats into campaigns.
