We are currently going through a period of expansion and now looking for a passionate and talented
**Product Owner (Shared Services)** to join our Strategic Development Team based in Subang Jaya, Selangor.

Due to this growth, we are currently recruiting for an individual with experience of working as a Product Owner in an agile environment to join our Shared Services team. The role will be based at our office in Malaysia. The Product Owner will be working with multiple Scrum/ Kanban teams.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Define and adapt the product vision, and lead the Development Teams towards the vision
- Break down overall goals or visions of a project into smaller segments a.k.a. user stories by collaborating with the Development Teams and Product Manager
- Own the Product Backlog, with a focus on maximising product value and representing the needs of users.
- Work with fellow BAs to clearly express the Product Backlog items, ensuring the Development Teams understand items in the Product Backlog to the level needed for developing them and creating the value the Product Owner envisions
- Monitor and share progress of Product Backlog through any projective practice based on trends of work completed and upcoming work.
- Actively and regularly asks for Product Manager input and expectations to process into the Product Backlog.
- Perform release planning by collaborating with Product Manager/Product Board
- Adhere to Scrum theory, practices, and rules, and participate Scrum events as a Scrum Team member
- Able to identify risk and issues, communicate it to stakeholders and drive it to a resolution.
- Review the performance of individual direct reports (Business Analyst) and provide timely and effective feedback for improvement

**Knowledge & Experience**:

- 5+ years’ experience in managing software requirements or product backlog for more than 2 software development teams.
- Experience in working in multiple products concurrently is desirable.
- Proficient research, analytical, and logical thinking, and reasoning skills
- Leadership skill - be able to motivate the Development Teams.
- Decision making skills - to be skilful when making decisions so that the Development Teams are focused on the right product and features and be the final decision maker for hard product decisions and know when you need to ask for external input.
- Experience in Software Release Management and good understanding of UX / Design
- Proven ability to operate in an environment with ambiguity and competing priorities, and to manage complex situations with multiple dependencies and constraints.
- Able to build and maintain a strong working relationship with a variety of stakeholders from different functions within the business at all levels.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written, in English
