Account Assistant

Working Schedule : Monday to Friday (8.30am-5.30pm)
Location : Modern Nexus Sdn. Bhd., HQ Sepang, Selangor
**About the Role**
We are looking for a self-motivated Accounting Assistant with a basic knowledge of Malaysian accounting frameworks such as MFRS, MPERS or IFRS concepts combined with core financial principles. This in-depth opportunity provides real-world exposure to bookkeeping, journal entries and financial reporting under direct supervision.
**What You’ll Do**
- Work alongside our Accounts team, shadowing experienced professionals and learning day-to-day processes.
- Assist with research, filing, data entry, and maintenance of detailed financial records.
- Support preparation of financial documents, including balance sheets, income statements, and invoices.
- Utilize bookkeeping software to assist with ongoing accounting tasks. Handle sensitive financial information with integrity and discretion.
- Compile, analyze, and track relevant data to support the accounting function.
- Take on extra tasks and projects to build exposure to office operations and accounting processes.
