POSITION : ACCOUNT ASSISTANT

Education and Experience

· Recognized Certificate/Diploma in Accounting / Finance or related field

Job Responsibilities

1. Billing & Collection

  • Prepare and issue maintenance fee & sinking fund invoices to residents.
  • Update receipts, process collections, and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding accounts.
  • Assist in generating monthly aging reports, statements of accounts (SOA), and reminder notices.

2. Accounts Payable (AP) & Vendor Management

  • Process supplier invoices, verify supporting documents, and prepare payment vouchers.
  • Liaise with vendors, contractors, and service providers regarding billing matters.
  • Ensure all payments comply with internal controls and approval workflows.

3. Accounting Data Entry & Reporting

  • Input all financial transactions into the accounting system (SQL/Autocount/others).
  • Perform bank reconciliation, petty cash updates, and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Assist with monthly financial reporting to JMB/MC as required under Strata Management Act 2013 (Act 757).

4. Document Control & Compliance

  • Maintain filing of receipts, invoices, contracts, and account-related documents.
  • Ensure financial records comply with the Strata Management Regulations & COB requirements.
  • Support annual audit preparation and provide relevant documents to auditors.

5. Office Administration Support

  • Work closely with Building Manager/Executive on daily operational needs.
  • Assist in procurement, document printing, memo issuance, and general administration tasks.
  • Support residents at the Management Office in a professional and customer-friendly manner.

Requirements & Skills Needed

  • Diploma in Accounting / Finance / Business or related field.
  • Fresh graduates are welcome; training will be provided.
  • Familiarity with SQL Accounting, Bukku or other accounting tools is an added advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail & accuracy.
  • Good communication skills (BM & English).
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Advantage: Experience in strata/property management.

Job Types

Full-time, Contract

Working Hours

  • Mon – Fri: 9.00am – 5.30pm
  • Sat: Half day 9.00am – 1.00pm
  • Office located inside Management Office, Kota Warisan, Sepang

  • Salary: RM2,000 – RM2,800 (depending on experience)
