For 28 years, Heng Sheng Hardware has been a trusted name in the hardware industry, known for reliability and quality service.

We are expanding and seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the full spectrum of accounting activities for our company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Accounting Operations

  • Manage full set of accounts — AR, AP, GL, and journal entries.
  • Review and verify supplier invoices, customer statements, and related documents.
  • Ensure accurate and timely recording of payments and transactions.
  • Perform monthly closing, reconciliation, and adjustments.

2. Financial Reporting

  • Prepare monthly financial statements and cash flow reports.
  • Identify variances or discrepancies and highlight issues to management.
  • Assist in budget tracking and cost control activities.

3. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure compliance with SST, tax, and statutory requirements.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date accounting records and document filing.

4. Team Support & Leadership

  • Supervise, train, and guide the Account Admin in daily accounting and filing work.
  • Work closely with management, purchasing, and sales teams to ensure smooth information flow.
  • Continuously improve accounting processes and reporting accuracy.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably in a trading or retail environment.
  • Strong knowledge of AR, AP, reconciliation, and monthly closing.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (e.g., SQL, AutoCount, or similar).
  • Fluent in English, Malay, and Mandarin.
  • Responsible, systematic, and able to work independently.
