Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in maintaining financial records by accurately recording daily transactions, updating ledgers, and ensuring all entries are properly documented.
  • Support the preparation of financial statements such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
  • Handle invoices and receipts, ensuring proper filing, coding, and data entry into accounting systems.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and verify that all financial transactions match company records.
  • Participate in internal audits by organizing documentation, checking for discrepancies, and supporting auditors as required.
  • Prepare simple financial reports and summaries for management review.
  • Perform administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and filing of accounting documents.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper communication and flow of financial information.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial data and uphold professional integrity at all times.

Required Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, MYOB, or QuickBooks).
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a professional environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM RM1,000.00 per month
