Account Assistant

Able to handle full set accounts, prepare monthly closing and financial reports independently under minimum supervision.
- Ensure accounting records and systems complies with the company's policies, approved accounting standards, related statutory / tax requirements.
- Prepare payment vouchers / journal vouchers / bank reconciliations.
- Manage various aspect of month end closing activities, including ensure proper cut-off and timely reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Perform credit control activities on collection of outstanding debts and to respond positively and professionally on customers’ queries.
- Maintain an up-to-date aging report and reconciliation report for receivable balances.
- Liaise with front counter department for issuance of invoices, receipts and billings.
- Any other ad-hoc duties as required
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Finance/Accountancy
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience with accounting and audit experience
- Proficient in MS Office skills in Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc
- Proficient with general tax and accounting system
- High degree of integrity and security of confidential data
- A dynamic individual, excellent interpersonal and communication skills both in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- A pro-active individual with the ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Able to commence work immediately / short notice is an added advantage.
- Fresh graduate can be considered
**Salary**: Up to RM2,500.00 per month
