Join our dynamic international team at Universiti Malaya and contribute to research on **Novel Therapies for Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma (NPC)**. NPC is highly prevalent in Malaysia, with the incidence rate ranking fourth globally. It predominantly affects Chinese and indigenous populations in Sabah and Sarawak, with the Bidayuh community in Sarawak facing the highest reported incidence worldwide. This project aims to explore the potential of a safe, affordable drug as a novel therapeutic option for NPC. By addressing this critical health challenge, we aim to reduce health disparities and promote the development of sustainable healthcare solutions in underserved communities. **We are currently recruiting for the following positions**: - **Graduate Research Assistant** - Fully funded PhD opportunity **Key Requirements**: - A 1st class BSc degree (CGPA > 3.7) or Master’s degree in a relevant field - Strong passion for cancer biology - Prior laboratory experience in cell culture and molecular biology is highly preferred - Good communication and interpersonal skills - Motivated and hardworking - Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team **Application Materials**: - Cover letter - CV - Contact details of two referees Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month **Benefits**: - Professional development Schedule: - Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
