Requirements and skills: - Minimum Diploma/ Degree in Chemistry, Analytical/Applied Chemistry or equivalent. - Registered Chemist under the Malaysian Institute of chemistry (IKM) and has been an approved signatory for accredited lab is a plus. - Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in an analytical laboratory and in the related field is required. - Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) is required. - Knowledge method validation, uncertainty measurement, lab safety, ISCC, HACCP will be an added advantage - Competent in handling of laboratory equipment necessary to carry out experimental and laboratory work. - With practical and hands-on experience in handling equipment - Experienced in testing according to ISCC and international standards. - Proactive, discipline, willingness to learn and reliable personalities. - Dedicated, well organized, matured, positive thinking, able to work independently as well as in a team environment. - Creative and analytical minded, able to work independently in the laboratory and plant environment, have aptitude for development work. Equipment to handle: - Coulometric Chlorine Analyzer - Gas Chromatography Analysis of Fatty Acid Methyl Esters and Esters in Oil - Elemen + SUVF3000 - Perkin Elmer’s Avio 220 Max ICP-OES Parameters to test: - Chlorine Analyzer - Fatty Acid Methyl Esters and Esters in Oil - Sulfur Analyzer - Total Metal Content Job Description: - Ensure QC testing and monitoring are in order for raw materials, finished products and utilities. - Ensure compliance of all related certification. - Maintain cleanliness of laboratory facilities, equipment, and utensils. - Generate reports, insights and presentations that clearly and concisely communicate conclusions and recommendations. - To carry out specific testing and R&D. - To conduct test according to laboratory SOP and adhere strictly to the requirements of various standard. - New product development, sourcing of new raw materials and liaising with regional suppliers. - Able to work independently. - To perform any other task assigned from time to time.
