**The Role**: Market Analyst - Hydrogen and Renewable Gas
**The Team**: S&P Global Commodity Insights is the leading provider of Clean Technology & Renewables data and insight. The Clean Energy Technology team is currently looking to recruit a market analyst focused on hydrogen and renewable gas in Penang, Malaysia to support its rapidly growing and successful team, which is located across various locations in Europe, Asia, and the Americas.

**Responsibilities**:
Collect, manage and analyze market data to track and identify trends, policies, stakeholders, projects, and technology developments in the hydrogen and renewable gas market
Create high quality market reports analyzing the status and outlook for hydrogen and renewable gas
Work with both a global team align data and forecasts and co-ordinate viewpoints
Support client inquiries and requests by providing answers to questions about datasets and research findings
**Ideal**:
Knowledge of the emerging hydrogen industry, including relevant technologies and use cases
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical skills, including competency with Excel
Fluent in English

Ability to learn quickly and multi-task
Ability to work in a diverse, global team
Ability to understand technical and economic concepts related to hydrogen
Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin)
