**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Cost Estimation and Budget Management**:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities (BOQ), and budgets for interior design projects.
- Monitor and control project costs to ensure alignment with approved budgets.
2. **Tendering and Procurement**:
- Analyze tender documents and prepare accurate tender submissions.
- Source, negotiate, and procure materials and services within budget constraints.
3. **Contract Administration**:
- Draft, evaluate, and manage contracts with contractors, suppliers, and vendors.
- Monitor contractual obligations to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
4. **Project Coordination**:
- Collaborate with designers, project managers, and site teams to align costs with project requirements.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and verify work against agreed costs and specifications.
5. **Valuation and Financial Reporting**:
- Prepare interim valuations, final accounts, and cost reports for ongoing projects.
- Advise on variations, claims, and cost implications arising during project execution.
6. **Risk Management**:
- Identify and mitigate potential financial risks associated with projects.
- Ensure adherence to legal and industry standards in cost management practices.
**Qualifications and Skills**:
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- **Experience**: Minimum of 3 years of experience in quantity surveying, preferably in interior design or related industries.
- **Technical Skills**:
- Proficient in using quantity surveying and project management software (e.g., AutoCAD, CostX, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and legal requirements.
- **Key Competencies**:
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills.
- Strong negotiation and communication abilities.
- Attention to detail with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude.
Pay: From RM3,500.00 per month
