Site Safety Supervisor

Site Safety Supervisor ensures compliance with safety regulations on construction sites and promotes a culture of safety among workers. This includes conducting safety inspections, providing safety training, and ensuring that all equipment and activities are safe and compliant with legal requirements.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Safety Compliance**:

- Ensure that all construction site activities comply with **Occupational Safety and Health (OSH)** regulations and any other relevant safety laws or guidelines.
- Verify that workers adhere to safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- **Site Inspections**:

- Conduct regular safety inspections of the construction site to identify potential hazards, unsafe practices, or defective equipment.
- Prepare inspection reports and document any incidents or near misses.
- Ensure that corrective actions are taken promptly to mitigate risks identified during inspections.
- **Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification**:

- Perform risk assessments to identify potential dangers at each stage of construction.
- Develop and implement safety measures and protocols to eliminate or reduce the risk of accidents.
- Regularly review and update the safety plan to address new risks or changes in the construction process.
- **Safety Training**:

- Provide training and guidance to workers, subcontractors, and other personnel on site regarding safe working practices, emergency procedures, and the use of safety equipment.
- Organize safety induction programs for new workers joining the site.
- **Accident Investigation and Reporting**:

- Lead investigations into any accidents, injuries, or near misses on site to determine the cause.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents and recommend actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Report accidents and unsafe conditions to relevant authorities and site management as required by law.
- **Emergency Preparedness**:

- Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, fire drills, and first-aid measures.
- Ensure that emergency equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers, first-aid kits) is available and functional at all times.
- **Enforcing Site Rules**:

- Monitor and enforce safety rules and regulations on the construction site, ensuring strict compliance with safety policies.
- Take disciplinary action against workers who violate safety protocols or engage in unsafe behavior.
- **Documentation and Record-Keeping**:

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records, including safety inspection reports, training logs, and incident reports.
- Ensure that all documentation required for safety compliance is readily available for audits or inspections.
- **Coordination with Management and Authorities**:

- Work closely with site managers, project managers, and contractors to promote safety and address any safety concerns.
- Liaise with local authorities, safety auditors, and inspectors to ensure compliance with legal safety requirements.
- **Continuous Improvement**:

- Regularly review and assess the effectiveness of the site’s safety procedures and make improvements where necessary.
- Stay updated with the latest safety regulations, practices, and technologies and implement them on-site.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month

**Education**:

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Site safety Supervisor: 2 years (preferred)
- construction safety & health: 2 years (preferred)

License/Certification:

- Diploma or Certificate in OSH or a related field. (preferred)
- cidb (preferred)
- yellow book by DOSH (preferred)
- green book by DOSH (preferred)

**Location**:

- Kuala Lumpur (preferred)

Willingness to travel:
