**Our Role**

This is an exciting opportunity located at our Petaling Jaya-based Remote Operations Center (ROC) in Malaysia for a Remote Operations Supervisor to join our team. Reporting into the Director of Maintenance & Process Engineering, the Remote Operations Supervisor will play a crucial leadership role, overseeing a team of engineers responsible for the remote monitoring and operation of plants through our cutting-edge process control system. The remote operations supervisor will also lead efforts in maintaining technology and continuous improvement initiatives that will lead to scaling up of automation in the region.

Graymont operates multiple Remote Operations Centers (ROCs) strategically positioned to support Global Operations. As a member of our team based in Petaling Jaya, you will lead and contribute directly to Graymont's corporate objective of advancing centralized operations.

**Key focus areas the role will include**:

- Providing leadership and guidance to a team of Remote Operations Engineers in ensuring safe and continuous operation, product quality, and environmental compliance.
- Collaborating with plant-based personnel and Remote Operations Engineers across different ROCs to optimise operational processes and drive continuous improvement and scaling up of the program.
- Overseeing the monitoring and control of plant production equipment, making necessary recommendations to meet operational and quality requirements.
- Maintaining shift operation records, facilitate information exchange between ROCs and communicate effectively with all personnel.
- Assisting in the defining and implementation of standards, methods and procedures for operating processes remotely.
- Ideally an Engineering degree or technical certification and experience demonstrating an advanced process control background.
- Industrial experience within a manufacturing/processing environment, with a focus on Process Control Systems and/or industrial automation.
- Strong leadership and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficient in computer skills, including knowledge of Microsoft programs. Background in Electrical, PLC programming, instrumentation, automation, and HMI controls is a strong asset.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
- Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus.
