Requirements:

- Min. Diploma/SPM with credit in Science and Mathematic
- Working experience in oleochemicals, and petrochemicals with similar work exposure will be an added advantage
- Minimum 1 to 3 years of working experience as Laboratory Assistant in similar working environment
- Must be result oriented and independence.
- Computer literate and able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia

**We provide hostel for applicants from outside Johor that need relocation assistance.**

Reporting to:
Chemist and higher ranking position in the company.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist the Company’s Chemist in his/her duties which include:

- Perform quality testing on raw materials, in-process, finished products, and outgoing shipments.
- Ensure all tests follow standard methods and stay updated on testing requirements.
- Report any quality issues to the chemist promptly.
- Properly label, record, and manage all lab samples and test results.
- Assist in lab operations: inventory, calibration, housekeeping, and waste handling.
- Comply with ISO 9001, GMP, and FSSC standards.
- Coordinate with external surveyors for quality and quantity checks.
- Support troubleshooting, technical discussions, and research tasks.
- Assist in maintaining IETS and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the department or management.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM1,650.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
