**Position: Maintenance Manager**
**Position Level: Head of Department**

**Job location: 39100 Brinchang, Pahang**

**Working hours: Mon-Fri 9-5 (50% shift) flexible working hours based on operation requirement**

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**:
1. Responsible in planning, executing, and supervising the general day-to-day
operation of the entire Maintenance & Engineering Department.
2. Provide advice and solution to management on all aspects of maintenance
& engineering support, environment controls and the operational efficiency
of the hotel.
3. Responsible for the effective preventive maintenance task within the hotel
building equipment and facilities.
4. Ensure adhere and full compliance to all statutory regulations and fire code
by regularly reviewing policies and safety procedures.
5. Ensure the effective financial management of the maintenance &
engineering department by setting maintenance & engineering budgets,
capital work programs and maintenance & engineering plans and ensuring
that performance against budget are regularly monitored and reviewed.
6. Plan and co-ordinate the monthly schedule for all maintenance and
preventive services and warranties.
7. Ensure all works is carried out in accordance with contracts, leases, services
agreements and warranties.
8. Develop, implement and monitor all maintenance & engineering policies
and procedures, inspections and schedules, and maintain logs and reports.
9. Develop a competent and qualified team to carry-out daily task in
accordance with the established department SOP.
10. Responsible for all the repairs projects, renovations projects, installation
activities and preventive maintenance activities of Hotel premise.
11. To ensure Hotel premises are safe and functional for guests and employees
alike.
12. Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation.
13. Train, manage and develop maintenance personnel to achieve highest level
of job performance.
14. Organize repair projects in a manner that does not disturb guests.
15. Plan and oversea renovations and constructions.
16. Be familiar with all major shut off stations including water, electric,
sprinkler, fire alarm and etc; act fast to resolve all these emergency issues.
17. Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
18. Find ways to reduce Hotel operating costs and conserve energy.
19. Monitor equipment inventory and place order when necessary.
20. Manage relationship with contractors and service providers.
21. Monitor expenses and control the budget for maintenance department.
22. Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
23. In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations; compliance with all
safety regulations of assigned tasks and ensure a clean and safe working
environment with active participation in the Hotel health and safety
program.
24. Adhere to all environmental policies and programs as required.
25. Familiarity with plumbing, electrical, sewer and all operating equipment
and systems.
26. Handle administrative processes (e.g. budgeting, performance
management).
27. Ability to spot safety risks and address needs quickly.
28. Problem-solving aptitude with excellent organizational and leadership skills.
29. Any other task job duties and responsibilities may assign by the
Management that may be required from time to time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
