We are looking for experienced talents who specialist in Customer Care with logistic knowledge to join our Ocean Freight team.
This role will be responsible to provide assistant to general operational ocean freight functions.
**The role require to execute the below tasks and initiative**:
- Handling assigned Key Account Customers enquiries
- Act as a first point of contact for customers on operational matters
- Coordinates Ocean Freight shipment and transport arrangement (LCL/FCL)
- Liaising with carrier, co-loader, warehouse, agent and transporter
- Process shipment as per SOP/Work instruction (Eg: Placing booking with carrier or co-loader, liaising with oversea office and customer)
- Work closely with internal department to resolve issue and meet customer’s demands (sales, operation, customs, billing, transport)
- Monitors KPI and work on continuous improvement opportunities
- Maintain records and filing as per ISO requirements and standards
- Monitor internal data & system compliance
**To be successful in this role, we are expecting the below**:
Posses Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in Logistic Management & Transportation or any equivalent academic background.
Minimum 2 year working experience in the freight forwarding business.
Exposure to Freight Forwarding will be added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, including word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as Microsoft Outlook
Skills require:
- Initiative - Problem solver and willing to take more responsibility
- Analytical (attentive to details)
- Customer Orientation
- Planning and Organizing (able to Multitasking)
Attribute require:
- Work Independently (mínimal supervision)

Fluency in conversing and writing in English is require as this position will interact with clients and aboard colleagues.
This position will be based at our Penang Branch, Bayan Lepas.
