As a **Financial Controller**, you will have the unique opportunity of overseeing all financial aspects of a rapidly growing startup. With your extensive experience and well rounded knowledge in accounting, financial and business principles, you will effectively oversee all company accounts and investments.

In this role, your work to oversee all aspects of accounting and control will be used by our leadership team to make strategic financial decisions that set us up for success. You will enable StoreHub’s operations to scale efficiently by working closely with all functions, setting up flexible processes and guidelines, and bringing timely reporting and perspectives during key financial decisions.

**What you will do**:

- Oversee all company accounts and investments
- Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
- Manage cash flow by tracking transactions and regularly reviewing internal reports
- Review all financial plans and budgets regularly to look for cost reduction opportunities
- Supervise and manage financial department staff, including accountants and financial assistants
- Motivate and lead finance team members by clarifying roles and providing helpful feedback
- Suggest updates and improvements for accounting systems, including payroll and invoicing
- Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported
- Establish and implement financial reporting systems to comply with government regulations and legislation
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
- Develop budgets and financial plans for the company based on research and data reports
- Examine all financial reports and data closely to check for discrepancies
- Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
- Report to the CEO with timely and accurate financial information
- Assist the CEO in presenting reports to senior executives, stakeholders, and board members.

**What you will need**:

- 7+ years experience in a Finance/Accounting role
- 3+ years experience as a finance controller or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of business finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
- Solid knowledge of financial analysis and forecasting
- Proficient in the use of financial management software
- An analytical mind with a strategic ability
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
- CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
