Main duties and responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with local statutory accounting and taxation policies and requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant GB group policies and procedures
- Ensure timely and accurate financial and management reporting according to local statutory and IFRS rules on a monthly/quarterly/annual cycle, and all other ad-hoc financial reports as per local statutory and group requirements
- Ensure timely and accurate tax filings (GST, income tax, and withholding taxes)
- Ensure effective execution of SOX controls applicable to the entity/entities in scope
- Coordinate internal and external audits ensuring compliance
- Manage local finance and accounting operations (whether in house or outsourced) based in countries within scope or in other locations
- Representative in banking and administrative procedures
- Preparation of annual forecast and budget in close cooperation with the Country Managing Directors and other relevant stakeholders
- Support group projects and initiatives benefitting the operations of entities within scope

Qualification
- Degree and Certification Finance or Accounting

Experience & Competencies
- Experience of at least 5 years in financial operations of a US listed company
- Background in audit or previous employment in one of the Big Four an advantage, but not required
- Knowledge and experience in implementation of SOX-compliant processes or ownership of SOX controls
- Experience in implementing Finance business process changes/improvements or managing Finance projects
- Highly skilled in written and verbal communication (English fluency a must, fluency in other languages an advantage)
