Purchasing Executive

**Job Requirements**: - Assist the supervisor in planning, sourcing and liaising for new supplier and review existing ones to ensure products remain competitive - Assist the manager for managing & supporting day-to-day Sales/ purchasing related administrative works - Keep to date with market trends and react to changes in demand area - Inventory control, checking and consolidation - Ensure materials are delivered on time - Liaise with Outlet personnel to ensure product / collection supply meets demand. - Seek feedback from customers on product bought and observe customer buying trend / buying power. Observing surrounding area competitors, compare competitors' selling price and product quality - Conduct regular sales analysis to evaluate promotion and sales strategy effectiveness and identify business opportunities as well as conduct business reviews to customer - Spearheading new product development to sustain brand / product lifecycle - Find a quotation for the requested items from engineering department - To create a new vendor card in the API pro and SAP system & to create a purchase order in the API pro system - To get signature from management on all the related engineering PO's in daily basis - To approve a purchase order in the API pro system, scan and finally forward to vendor in daily basis - To do photocopy of approved purchase order and to be kept in the file & follow up delivery status with vendor in daily basis - To do duplication of engineering Purchase Order in the sap system (find a GL, material group and cost center) - To prepare monthly PO listing report and forward to accountant. - Handling petty cash bills. (Purchased goods, photocopy of bills, get signature from 3 persons, do filing and handover to finance department and do settlement of cash) - To create engineering project related purchase order in the sap system (high value job) **Job Requirements**: - Possess minimum a Diploma / Degree in Business Administration, Purchasing or equivalent. - 1 year of hands-on working experience in the Purchasing environment will be added advantages. - Work effectively in a team environment and also able to work under pressure - SAP knowledge is added advantage - Good interpersonal, time management skills, high initiative, independent, hardworking, and responsible - Good communication and writing skills in English Language and Bahasa Malaysia - Well versed in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel - Good team player that can work collaboratively with internal & external parties.
