JR34154 Intern - Ops Modelling

Tools utilisation is a key component affecting the throughput of the tool, in-turn affecting the efficiency of capital investment for tool purchase. As probe is transitioning from manual loading to Automated Material Handling System (AMHS), tool idling time is expected to be reduced. With that, the tool design also plays an important part on how effectively the tools can make use of the automated system.

The project aims have analysis of:
expected tool efficiency improvement with AMHS

ideal number of load port for each Probe tool types considering utilisation gain, space and cost

validation of model result with actual tool performance
