Responsible in managing the financial operations of all companies which include monthly closing of accounts, preparation of management accounts, financial analysis presentation, budgetary planning and control, preparation of financial reports and any other ad-hoc reports assigned.
- Overseeing Financial Statement to ensure compliance with policies, procedures and Financial Reporting Standards.
- Responsible for forecasting and budgeting.
- Analyses a variety of financial information (e.g. revenues, expenditures, cash management, cost projections), for the purpose of providing direction and support, making recommendations, maximizing use of funds, and/or ensuring overall operations are within budget/properly budgeted.
- Understanding of Malaysia Accounting and Taxation regulatory.
- Oversees daily operations of the department and drive financial and operational improvements.
- Constantly review and ensure internal controls are in place. Provide governance framework included internal audit in line with the Companies’ policies and compliance requirements and propose improvements to internal controls and procedures.
- Provide monthly & quarterly financial management, statutory & supplementary reports on performance of the Companies to the Group on time and accurate.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of statutory of accounts for the Group
- Analytical, possess good problem-solving skills and able to make sound accounting decisions.
