**Job Purpose**:

- Head of Zones are the owner of sites within the designated zones. Their main responsibilities are to ensure the sites are maintained as per the required quality and service level indicators, in the most effective and cost-efficient manners.
- This requires them to ensure their team availability to attend to any faults, which entails team and work schedule preparation, team member training, team engagement and motivation as well as vehicle management.
- This can be done through continuous monitoring of zonal performance dashboard. They need to coordinate all field maintenance, corrective maintenance and preventive maintenance activities at least up to minimum requirements, trigger site repair and monitor 3rd party vendor activities. As site owners, they are also responsible to ensure site safety, in terms of avoiding hazardous situation and ensure site access is controlled.
- They need to monitor overall maintenance activities of the field maintenance team consisting of all network elements at regional level for network performance running at optimal level as per the agreed indicators. Head of zones also need to support any project activities ongoing in their zones. During network crisis, Head of Zones are responsible to lead the network recovery that includes vendor engagement, genset deployment, support on property matters as well as managing management escalation.

**Accountabilities / Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring all team members are equipped with the right tool, adequately trained to perform their functions, fit and available to perform their standby duties.
- Lead first level support activities to ensure all sites within the area of responsibilities are operating at optimum level and meets minimum committed SLA to the customers, in terms of network availability, MTTR and preventive maintenance completion.

- Ensure correct assignment of trouble tickets to field maintenance team and to enforce that all are fully attended, rectified and closed with full information required and as per the agreed quality and timeline.
- Ensure all team members maintain detailed activity record of all type of working slip issued (TT, RSO, work orders, etc) through specified system and as per requirement.
- Maintain and monitor the required routine preventive maintenance, CA, RF, WO, MR updates and all related work on network elements are within agreed timeline
- Coordinate execution of zonal corrective maintenance activities to repair and ensure all site assets are operating within required standard and optimize zonal operating cost per site.
- Monitor customer complaints within area of responsibility as assigned and directed by Superiors within the agreed timeline
- Maintain and monitor records on all activities in site log book and ensuring all data are updated always
- Lead zonal implementation of all the agreed improvement initiatives to improve team performances.
