Qc Technician

**The Responsibilities of the Job**:

- Responsible for QA and QC activities in ensuring continuous and efficient operations to the desired productivity, quality and safety.
- Responsible for verification of any activities that related to QA & QC, including sample collection & inspection from Production, tank farm, incoming, in-process, first fill and outgoing. Example of samples: raw materials (oils), blended oil, packaging materials (quality only) and finished goods (quality only).
- All the samples collection from the Warehouse and Production such as 1. Receiving - road tanker/IBC, 2. first fill & last fill sample - filling & packing line, etc.
- Monitor and supervise the QC Assistant team for daily Operational & QC activities.
- Supporting the IPQC documentation and lead the QC Assistant team to make sure compliance and follow the SOP and WI.
- As a back-up and to support Lab Technician and QC & Lab Supervisor for lab testing and activities.
- As a back-up to QC Assistant by support and coordinating or performing for product sampling, testing and recording.
- Responsible to conduct the spot check (if any) and regular inspection in Production, Warehouse and Tank Farm area, including laboratory and label room to make sure the 5S is follow, record and filling of tested result and documentations are in place.
- To feedback and support QC & Lab department for issue of any documents or instruction or memo that related to QA, QC and Lab function or requirement to Production and Warehouse.
- Responsible and work closely with internal customer such as Production, Logistic & Warehouse, Supply Chain, Maintenance, Business Development and Customer Service team in order to meet product quality and achieve product excellence.
- Support and assist QC & Lab Supervisor, Senior Lab Technician and Lab Technician for up-keep of Lab control documents such as raw materials & finished goods specification, Safety Data Sheet (SDS), Product Data Sheet (PDS) and Technical Data Sheet (TDS), etc.
- Assist and support QC & Lab department in drive quality excellence, set-up, developing, implementing and maintain best practices in plant and laboratory.
- Supporting QC & Lab Supervisor in monitoring and control of chemical and accessories used in laboratory (if any and as part of secondary task).
- Assist, feedback and support in implementation of any quality control plan especially for activities that related to QA, QC, Lab and Production activities.
- As a back-up and supporting the maintenance and calibration of lab instruments and equipment (to support and assist Senior Lab Technician and Lab Technician).
- Work, assist and support QC & Lab Supervisor and Production Planner cum QMR Executive for any of customer complaint that related to quality or on-hold goods or customer returned/rejected and corrective action.
- Assist and support QC & Lab Supervisor and Production Planner cum QMR Executive in implement and maintain quality control (QC) procedure and ISO9001:2015 compliances.
- Support and assist to ensure laboratory compliance to company HSE requirement and quality objective.
- Support and assist QC & Lab Supervisor Production Planner cum QMR Executive and Business Development or Customer Service department for sample request.
- Work with QC & Lab Supervisor and Production Planner cum QMR Executive and team in continuous improvement, guide environmental, health and safety initiatives and maintaining ISO certifications.
- Assist and support QC & Lab Supervisor and Production Planner cum QMR Executive for the QA/QC related support and advice such as customer site visit, customer audit and 3rd party audit.
- Assist and support QC & Lab Supervisor and Production Planner cum QMR Executive for the development of future compliance and certification such as HALAL certification (future) or other project that related to compliances and certification.
- Undertake any other Lab, QA and QC related task and future project as deemed appropriate, involving both OEM and Process Oils business.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
