Content Visual Designer

**Job Description**:
In your role as a **Content Visual Designer**, your day-to-day tasks will consist of creating visually engaging, innovative yet functional artwork and layouts for digital and non-digital projects. One of the key aspects of your role is a thorough understanding of the right balance between business, design, target audiences and serving our brand’s purpose, business missions and customer needs.

**_ In this role you will be responsible for:_**

Besides bringing content vision and concepts to life, your responsibilities as part of the integrated marketing communications team will include refining ideas and developing new ones to create a highly designed visual experience for the target audience through a variety of platforms including web and intranet sites, content: infographics, visuals for social media postings, advertisements, e-newsletters, e-direct mailers, GDN banners, sales & marketing materials, videos, learning materials etc

More responsibilities in detail:

- Establish the look and feel for digital interfaces and non-digital, work within brand guidelines to create visually enticing layouts with information that is easy to read and understand, and emotionally engaging
- Generate clear ideas, concepts and designs of creative assets from beginning (wireframes or screen mockups) to end
- Plan and manage daily work by gathering information and materials, sourcing images and videos, copywriting
- Create and organise production assets
- Staying in the loop and on top of the latest standards, changes, trends in visual design field

**Requirements**:

- Minimum one year of professional experience in designing content (graphic and video), advertisement and editorial layouts for web, desktop and mobile, as well as non-digital materials
- Degree or equivalent qualification in the graphic design field. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator. Experience with other softwares may be an advantage
- A solid foundation in typography, layout, design, visual animation, video production and final artwork output for production
- Strong design and troubleshooting skills, excellent visual, written and verbal communication skills, along with presentation and negotiation skills
- Well organised, responsible and dedicated, with the ability to work on multiple projects and deliver refined design in a short time while effectively managing expectations
- Proactive self-learner, able to learn new tools quickly and work as a team in a fast evolving environment
- Understanding of web design issues (including browser usability and cross-platform compatibility) with experience on transitions, animation, motion design and dynamic interaction are a plus
- Malaysian or holds a relevant resident status

**_Highly Desirable:_**
- Strong design, troubleshooting and presentation skills
- Excellent spoken and written in English and Bahasa Malaysia
- Ability to meet projects timeline
- Versatility to build rapport with people at all levels
- Commercially focused and is alert of the changes and updates in marketing
