Job Descriptions:

- Assure that guests have an enjoyable round of golf, that all groups do their best to keep pace with others, that all players observe good golf etiquette and obey the rules set forth for play.
- Maintain frequent contact with golf registration and starter by radio or in person to discuss traffic flow, car scheduling and other factors affecting smooth daily operations.
- Check with the golf registration for any unusual or special instructions, such as cart paths only etc., make a copy of the day’s tee sheet, carry a radio in good working condition, and a first aid kit. Keep the pace of play moving. By keeping on top of start, turn and finish times, play should never exceed 5 hours. The goal at Forest City Golf Club is 4 hours and 30 minutes or better for 18-hole.
- Handling members on course complaints and prevention of dangerous play.
- Respond to golfers' questions, requests, concerns.
- Direct golfers around the course, if they are unfamiliar with the layout.
- Inform golfers about course policies, and let a golfer know when he might be in violation of course policy.
- If the opportunity arises, help golfers search for lost balls (or gently suggest they give up the search to keep the pace of play going).
- Try to mediate any disputes that might arise between groups.
- Look for opportunities to care for the course, eg. repairing ball mark, filling divot and raking bunkers.
- Activating course closure for inclement weather.
- Assist in tournament set up golf carts, contest holes etc.
- Ad-hoc duties.

Job Requirements:

- Possess Secondary Level education with preferably 1 year experience in relevant field.
- Must be prepared to perform shift duties and work on weekends and public holiday.
- Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of team across multicultural environment
- Ability to adapt, embraces strong cultural diversity, work in multi-ethnic teams and commence immediate employment or within short notice will be an advantage.

Rotating Shift
- 6.30am-3.00pm
- 11.00am-7.30pm
