**We are looking for a reliable Project Manager to plan projects and oversee the progress undertaken by our Group of Companies in a timely and cost-effective manner. Some examples of the projects are, but are not limited to renovation or refurbishment of S’MART complex and other business units (retail outlets, farm, set up a factory or cold rooms, etc) and opening of new supermarket &/or mínimarkets. He/She will be responsible for budgeting, organization, implementation, and scheduling of the projects.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Define the scope of the project in collaboration with the Management. Propose to the Management any upgrade works needed to enhance the operation/productivity of S’MART Complex or other business units and its related facilities (retail/outlet/farm/warehouse etc).
- Create a detailed work plan and schedule which identifies and sequences the activities needed to successfully complete the project.
- Determine the resources (time, sub-contractor, vendors, materials, equipment, etc) required to complete the project and prepare budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary.
- Review the project schedule with Management and all other staff that will be affected by the project activities; revise the schedule as required.
- To ensure the progress of the works is carried out smoothly in accordance to work programs and bring to Management's attention of any delays, problems or related matters.
- Ensure that the project deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
- Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques.
- Able to accept any Ad Hoc assignments by the Management from time to time.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma or Degree holder; Major in Building & Structural, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field.
- Previous experience in a similar role &/or similar industry will be added advantage.
- Possess a good understanding and strong leadership in the areas of construction management processes, means and methods, and site supervision.
- Knowledge of building products, construction details, and relevant rules, regulations, and quality standards.
- High proficiency in CAD.
- Applicants must be able to read and interpret drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, ability to multi-task and juggle multiple duties simultaneously with little management oversight.
- Self-motivated and proactive with excellent communication skills and good command both written and verbal in English and Bahasa Malaysia. The ability to speak in the local Mandarin dialect for communications with sub-con is an added advantage.
- Good in the planning, organizing, staffing, leading or directing, controlling, and coordinating.
- Possess own transport.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
