Buyer (Mro)

**Job Summary**

Responsible for local and oversea purchase of Indirect material and MRO items and ensure conform to specified requirements by acquiring supplies of the highest quality, lowest total costs, delivered on time, and in the proper quantity.
- Plan, source and purchase materials, product, supplies, and equipment.
- Obtain quotations and bids, analyses, and makes recommendations.
- Follow up on all purchase requisitions to ensure items have been ordered and are on schedule for on-time delivery.
- Responsible for retention of reconciliation reports, invoices, and purchase orders.
- Involved in contract and price negotiations for medium to large volumes to contribute to the profitability of the company.
- Manage suppliers to gain the best suppliers and guarantee an optimum supply chain which includes minimizing purchasing risks.
- Report monthly/quarterly results to control measurable activities against the planned figures.

**We Are Looking For**
- Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business. Preferably Supply Chain Management.
- Min 3-5 years of working experience in Supply Chain, Operations, or production environment, preferably in the Manufacturing industry.
- Strong multi-tasking, organization, attention to detail and follow-up skills.
- Results oriented with strong communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of MRO procurement practices, terms, negotiation concepts, and business law.
- Familiarity with local sourcing, materials and services would be an added advantage.
- Advance level in MS Office, analytical skill.

**Salary**: RM3,500.00 - RM6,300.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
