Position Tittle : Purchasing Officer
Company Background: Manufacturer of Metal Stamping and Moulding Products
Working Hour: 8am - 6pm
Working Day: 5 days (Mon-Fri)
Working Location : Gelang Patah
Salary Range: RM2000 - RM3000
Benefits: Increment after confirmation (upon employee’s own performance), 2 hours of time off per month, Bonus (upon company’s performance), Annual Increment (upon company’s performance), Annual Leave, Sick Leave, KWSP, SOCSO
Responsibility
- Responsible for the ongoing purchasing and sourcing activities that could generate more cost saving for the company.
- Research and identify the suppliers by evaluating vendors in local market
- Perform supplier sourcing, evaluation, assessment and selection, negotiation, performance monitoring, vendor relationship management and continuous improvement for the company.
- Source for new parts, materials, services, or suppliers when the need arises.
- Deal with suppliers on any quality issues, products replacement, products sample requests, pricing, etc.
- Update the relevant records in the system of company
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned by superior or Management from time to time.
Requirement:
- SPM/Diploma/Degree or higher academic qualifications in any relevant fields.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English
- Must be able to write and communicate in Chinese to deal with foreign suppliers in China
- Fresh Graduate with good learning attitude is welcome to apply
- Independent with persuasive interpersonal skills
- Exhibit strong negotiation and problem solving skills.
- Computer literate and numerate.
- Good attitude and responsible character.
