Job description:

- Responsible for the efficient and safe preparation, execution and follow-up of daily technical issues and shutdowns in the plant related to his experience level in electrical and instrumentation
- Assure that maintenance is executed in an efficient, safe and environmental friendly manner in accordance to the factory's procedures and regulations
- Execute, check, and follow-up of mechanical, electrical or instrumentation maintenance of the plant with minimum supervision.
- Ability to analyze problems within the domain of instrumentation and work out solutions to minimize the down time in the plant
- Looking for the root cause of technical issues and independent thinking results in a long lasting and cost effective solution
- Complete preventive/predictive maintenance of equipment and machinery by following the recommended upkeep schedule
- Reports technical issues, findings and executed jobs in the best possible way to ensure a good internal communication and availability of historical data, including SAP
- Assists external companies to ensure that the execution of the tasks are done accordingly the agreement and the plant regulations
- Executes the maintenance tasks in compliance with the plant related regulations. Findings or abnormalities will be resolved with appropriate corrective actions within the requested time frame
- Acts as a member of the On-call system

Job qualifications:

- Possesses at least SPM or certificates of instrumentation/electrical/Mechanical
- A4 chargeman is required
- Proven successful experience of at least 3 years in the related field.
- Professional knowledge of industrial instrumentation/electrical in a production facility
- Basic mechanical and electrical competence and troubleshooting skills added value
- A multitasking team player with an ability to work closely with all functional teams within the plant
- Experience in using a fork lift is an asset
- Able to work on shift
- Applicants must be willing to work in Pulau Indah,Klang
