**Responsibilities**:

- Install, configure, and maintain software tool on Linux operating systems and configure as per vendor documentation.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues. Respond to and resolve service outages and other problems.
- Work with other IT team members and departments to ensure seamless integration and operation of systems.
- Implement and manage monitoring tools to ensure system health and performance.
- Monitor and coordinate version upgrade activities and plan downtimes
- Monitor data replication channels for latency and escalate when required
- Monitor logs and coordinate with vendor support teams for problem resolution
- Understand network concepts.
- Understand root cause analysis and demonstrate the ability to effectively and efficiently identify/implement resolutions.
- Ensure environments are properly covered for recovery scenarios.

**Qualifications**
- BS or MS Information Systems; MS in Computer/Management Information Services or equivalent experience in a relevant field
- 8+ years in a related industry

**Skills**:

- System & platforms (Linux, Windows, HVR, Talend, Tibco DV)
- Knowledge of server virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM)
- Networking concepts (E.g. Firewall, CIDR Notation)
- SSO (E.g. SAML 2.0)
- Encryption (E.g. SSH, SSL, GPG)
- Relational Databases
- Development languages (E.g. Python)
- Shell scripting (E.g. bash)
- Project planning concepts
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English and communicate effectively with IT and Business oriented teams
- Combination of conceptual and analytical capabilities
