**We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team at 9yards Cafe & Bistro. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. Your passion for coffee and commitment to delivering top-notch customer service will contribute to the success of our establishment.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee-based beverages, including espresso, cappuccinos, lattes, and more, adhering to quality and presentation standards.
- Greet customers, take orders, and provide recommendations based on their preferences.
- Operate espresso machines, grinders, milk frothers, and other equipment with precision and care.
- Maintain a clean and organized coffee station, including regular cleaning and maintenance of equipment.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain a balanced cash register.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing any concerns and ensuring a positive experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure efficient service flow and overall cafe operations.
- Uphold food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a barista or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Passion for coffee and a deep knowledge of different coffee types, brewing methods, and flavor profiles.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Strong multitasking abilities to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail in coffee preparation, ensuring beverages meet quality and visual standards.
- Team player who can work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive work environment.
- Flexibility to work during busy periods, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order processing.
- High school diploma or equivalent education is required; additional education or certifications related to coffee or hospitality is a plus.

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM1,800.00 per month
