**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute procurement strategies tailored to roadworks, flood mitigation, building works, and slope-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives.
- Identify cost-effective sourcing opportunities, innovative procurement methods, and sustainable material options for construction projects.
- Evaluate, select, and manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and vendors for materials and services pertinent to roadworks, flood mitigation, building works, and slope-related projects.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and agreements to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery of materials and services.
- Collaborate with project teams to understand project-specific procurement needs, ensuring the timely acquisition of required materials while meeting quality standards and project schedules.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to meet the demands of various construction projects, particularly those focused on roadworks, flood mitigation, building works, and slope management.
- Lead and mentor the procurement team, fostering a culture of efficiency, accountability, and innovation.
- Provide strategic guidance, problem-solving support, and goal setting to ensure the procurement department's alignment with construction project needs.
- Other ad-hoc tasks given by the management.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CSCP, CPSM) are advantageous.
- Demonstrated experience (typically 8-10 years or more) in procurement and supply chain management within the construction industry, particularly focused on roadworks, flood mitigation, building works, and slope-related projects.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in implementing sustainable and environmentally friendly procurement practices related to roadworks, flood mitigation, building works, and slope management.
- Familiarity with digital procurement solutions or ERP systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance specific to the construction industry in the areas of roadworks, flood mitigation, building works, and slope management.

**Salary**: RM15,000.00 - RM30,000.00 per month
