Our client is a leading Global Logistics Provider with growth plan to further strengthen their Malaysia business, being one of the strategic hubs in the ASEAN region. To lead this transformation, they are looking for a commercially astute, sales focused Branch/ District Manager, with a growth path to be the Country Lead. Position is based in KL

**Some of the key responsibilities will include**:

- Report to the Regional Managing Director and lead a mid-sized team with P&L responsibility
- Oversee the various BUs across different transportation modes and contract logistics, and to ensure a smooth & successful operation
- Develop & optimize the profitability of the branch; strengthen customer relationships & further expand customer base
- Develop & drive strategies, and lead the business to achieve goals set that aligned with corporate direction
- Business process & system improvement and project management to enhance current business flow
- Maintain strong relationships with regional and global stakeholders, strategic partners and other suppliers
- Ensure compliance with trade and other regulators locally and internationally
- Lead, inspire, empower and overall elevate the current team to cope with business growth requirements

**To be eligible for this role you will require**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or other disciplines
- Solid experience leading a business or sales function with a sizable 3PL player in the logistics and freight forwarding industry ideal, with at least 5 years in a team leading role
- Track record driving growth and expanding business with knowledge in various transportation modes: Air Freight, Ocean Shipping, Trucking and Contract Logistics
- Demonstrated excellence and expertise in the logistics industry with superb stakeholder management including external vendors and other business partners
- Excellent command of English and Malay is a must
